BlackChapel Miniatures’ Elves Leap From The Trees
October 5, 2016 by brennon
BlackChapel Miniatures' Elves are descending from their treetop towers and striking at any invaders that dare to enter their domain! Check them out...
We've talked about how Elves need to be chunkier and more brawny so BlackChapel has answered the call. The three models above breakdown into the Spearman...
...who is looking like a dedicated sentinel. It's great that they've kept the angular features to the face but then made them seem more rugged and tested in battle. Following on from him we have the Claw-Blades Hunter.
This warrior wears lighter armour than the others allowing him to climb around in the treetops with ease. These warriors then descend on their prey from above, be it wild animals or interlopers.
Lastly, we have the model that caught our eye originally, the Elf Warrior.
These warriors are the guardians of the most sacred areas of the forest and therefore are given the best armour and weapons available. I could imagine them being a deadly force as they whirled around, ready to bring down anyone who got in their way.
We really like these Elves and would love to see more of them as the range grows!
What do you think?

Looking pretty cool!
Those elves look like they’ve been saying their prayers and eating their vitamins…
The first two look awesome…the third is good too but the pose is a bit dull for me.
Those are very nice.
Now this is what Wood Elves should be like vicious, feral and downright dangerous looking, they aren’t going to sit in a tree and sing songs about how beautiful the moon looks in the night sky, they’re going to be far too busy hunting down the poor sod who’s wandered into their woods and making a trophy of them.
Awesome looking sculpts, much less stereotypical than the usual Fantasy Elves.
nice.
Such unrealistic armour, just to show off their body, tch tch.
These look good and make do for my Glade troops for KoW (which I am just getting into after decades of historical wargaming), or so I thought. I went to the manufacturer’s website and saw the price. I have read it incorrectly but are they asking for over £8 per miniature (assuming current Euro/Sterling exchange rate)? Or are these in packs with multiple figures?
(Sheesh! I was just getting over Wargame’s Foundry’s prices)
They do bundle deals in their other ranges which suggests that the price is per mini. Bad enough pre-Brexit but extremely expensive post-.
Agreed. Wonderful miniatures but too expensive.
The one in the middle made me think i of Vega dressed as Aquaman
