That background action at 5:10 made this VLog gold haha. You guys are such an awesome team. Thanks for showing us this progress. Looking forward to what’s to come.
once again i forced my mates dad who was paying me a visit to watch you guys having a laugh with the scooner, clipper, snergly whatsymicallit boat……. At 76 years young i am supposed to see him as a fountain of knowledge warren @warzan and learn from him yet whenever he sees you, and he has a few times now, he simply starts chuckling and reckons you take nothing seriously and are a bit bonkers…… so as well as keeping us gamers happy with builds like this, you have today done your bit for care in the community and bought… Read more »
They make a living playing with toy soldiers. …’Nuff said? 😉
Tank-crazed, historian, painter, gamer who owns a pair of headphones with cat ears on top…. Bonkers fits me well 🙂
So John are you going to Salute this year ?
no idea yet
nice vid, the brass/copper plating would only come to the water line anyway as was expensive & heavy
Looks like you’re all having a blast. Keep it up guys.
Steam punk being the theme for this years Salute we need more of this to get us in the mood
Looks awesome guys, tho its to bad you can’t get any copper foil for the bottom that would really give you the reflection your looking for.
Looking forward to the new Stratagems
Is it me or would that sloop steamer be able to turn on a six pence but not go forward? Think it needs to have something below the waterline, something like torpedo doors at the back to indicate where the forward propulsion is. Just a thought… it would in effect turn it into a steam-punk jet boat.
Besides … wouldn’t all that brass/copper of the hull turn green (verdigris) from rust in the (sea)water anyway?
Well honestly you don’t know what the difference is between a Schooner and a Clipper… Nothing really the clippers were developed from schooners which were fast boats with 2 or more masts, clippers were extremely fast sleek boats designed to get cargo to its destination fast
Yes !!!! WOLSUNG !!!!! Can’t wait!
