Entertaining, but I don’t make props or cosplay. I’m watching this as I would someone kitbashing a model.
Isn’t all those googly eyes going to rattle and awful lot?
They probably won’t make a lot of noise compared to the racket the gun makes while firing. 😀
You shouldn’t prime the googly eyes, I think they look awesome.
This has been tremendously entertaining.
It has also been really informative. Using a heat gun to seal craft foam to make it usable in projects opens a lot of possibilities for using it to cover “sins” on recycled terrain components. That along with silicone sealant and googly eyes just lights my eyes up with the mischief that might be created. 😛
look like john has been corrupted & now his gun is growing eyes.
I’ve been doing googly eye rivets in terrain making for years now. They work a treat. They are going to look great on the gun.
RIVETING stuff John, I’m amazed at the results you get when working by EYE ……. yeah I know… I’ll be quiet
I love watching this. I die a similar project last summer and converted a Nerf Doomlands Lawbringer (a kind of revolver rifle) down to being just an enormous revolver. The Nerf Doomlands line has a post apocalyptic theme so I painted it to look as if it actually were what the toy pretends to be. It is now called the Lawhammer, as the standard Nerf revolver is called the Hammershot. I always envisioned making an evil twin for it and call it the Doomhammer, but never took the time.
I could try to take some photos if anyone is interested.
