Just completed the booking form to secure three nights of awesomeness on the emerald isle…sounds epic already! So excited I had to watch the video twice in quick succession too. I enjoy many different tipples and each in copious quantities (it’s only fair to them all) so your itinerary sounds good to me mate. 🙂
This looks awesome. Wish I could get across the ‘pond’ to be at this event.
Oops forgot to ask. Will you be filming the weekend to show how much fun I missed out on?
My wife, in her great benevolence has told me that I have not issues to attend, so long as I travel by water… from Toronto… and not return. Perhaps, another time :).
But out of pure curiosity… what does a pint go for in the local pub? (this might be important information for some)
Some might like my post at the fact that I won’t be attending LOL, but I’ll assume the likes are for the beer price – according to the internet the average price of a pint in Northern Ireland is GBP 3.20… though depending on how much the Beasts of War have depleted supplies, I suppose it could go up 🙂
Or maybe the former 🙂
Our local starts at £1.80 per pint 😉
Wait… Seriously? im starting to reconsider my wife’s terms… 😉
“Oh my god” (Sorry Justin) That’s enough to move a man to tears. I don’t even have the heart to break down what I pay here in Cornwall. I just know I don’t seem to get any change anymore. Looking forward to sampling the local brews. 🙂
Couldn’t make this one but you run an Infinity of Bolt Action event and I will move heaven and earth to be there.
I cannot make it this time, I am too far from Europe however I bought the Dropzone Commander starter set during the weekend, I hope you will share videos of the event so I can watch and learn. Cheers !
Not something i personally can attend, but I think its fantastic that you are able to put something like this together now. Just a year or so go things didn’t look so good, especially when you didn;t even have studio one and we had those fireside videos (which were great in their own way), now you are here!
Hope everyone who goes has a great time, I’ll make do with some good footage of it all.
Form in, waiting with baited breath to see if i’m off to BoW land and learn a great lookin game from scratch.
Would like to know if the room is twin or ‘cosy up to a strainger’?
Hope to hear soon guys. . .
I bitterly regret living in the States right now.
Just think of the wonderful Gencon and Adepticon, that should ease your pain matey 🙂
Yes this was just another straw on the camels back along with the 15 inches of snow yesterday. Thinking of maybe a Beasts of War Spring Training trip to sunny Florida. Couple of games and many pints!
Done and done.
There is plenty of Parking BTW
Woop of joy. Lol.
Booked now we just need to find flights … or we always swim if needed be
sounds great good luck and good gaming everyone.
may the dice gods smile on you all.
Come to think about it – will there be an option to buy stuff like command cards?
I hope you will do it more often I had green light from my misses but drop zone is not my kind of game/ I dont want to start another collection.
I nearly succumbed as enjoyed the coverage on BoW but really focussing on Infinity and Dust (hopefully if KS gets sorted) and also it’s 20th wedding anniversary near then so unfortunately have to pass but it was Infinityn would have been harder to pass up. Have a great time guys and wish I was coming but can’t really justify another game right now 😉
Looking forward to it:-)
That’s me hopefully booked now. Already got an unbuilt resin starter for the PHR but might as well grab a plastic one and build them both while I’m there. Got a local convention the week before this, then another convention before Salute. March and April are going to be busy =D
Is Justin drunk while filming? Or is he “trying” to be artistic while give us motion sickness.
i was off today 🙂
how easy is it to get from Belfast int’ to the BoW local?
Form submitted and booking flights. Beer tokens to save now he he he
Sold out!
Ooo sold out that shows it seems to be a successful idea…
I will have to remember my tablet when I come over don’t want to miss the weeder and xlbs…lol
that would be the weekender…lol
Congratulations! I wish I’d have been available to come to this – it sounds fantastic.
Selling out rapidly I think is a good sign, and an indicator that it’ll be a success! And as long as it is, hopefully you’ll be more confidently able to organise future events with more notice (so that anyone flying can book earlier / cheaper).
right Wife has been informed and flights have been booked, I submitted my booking form about four hours ago and have booked a single bed sharing room, I will bring spare ear plugs for whoever is stuck sharing with me in case of snoring. now theres several of us coming in from luton that morning, maybe get a cab together?
Single bed sharing room?
Surely the sharing rooms are twins with 2 beds?
They can’t expect 2 grown men to share a bed, even in Ireland.
Great idea and nicely booked out by the Backstagers 🙂 That should encourage a few more to join to get the heads up on future events.
Sadly clashes with a gaming event I’m booked in for. A Guildball Tournament weekend at a lodge in the Brecons. It will be a pretty similar format of beer, bacon an then a little gaming 🙂
