I’m blaming you guys for me picking up the 2 player stater set and a PHR starter army last week….. as if I didn’t have enough stuff already! 🙂
What the heck that happend to me last week XD
I am in the process of painting a Phoenix gunship. I have never been a fan of the Kodiak, so am hopeful that this will prove a better unit.
I’ve used the phoenix in my last two games so I’m still trying to get to grips with it. It’s dies both times but I think I picked the wrong targets and left it too exposed (got cocky about those 9 damage points!) so it didn’t make it’s points back, I foresee great things in it’s future
the Phoenix is a beastie, played against is a couple of times i now know how to deal with it:-)
If you can keep the phoenix healthy until late game it is a beast in focal point missions. With everything gathering in a small area you can pump out a lot of heavy AT and make a large dent in the enemy forces. Quite a few Phobos’ have died this way to my Phoenix.
hats a great looking ship.
thanks guys, always enjoy drop tactics as well as the comments from experienced players.
another fantastic looking model.
I love seeing a Phoenix across from me, as my list include a fair number of AA both Phobos and Helios and 2 Helios can chew up a Phoenix rather nice
