I’ve been using 3 thin coats for getting smooth coatings for a while now.
Love the scheme so far John, I’d just echo others with the cloth, I think there is just too much of it for it to be one colour. Maybe some of the cloth being a light grey would help break it up. Like the cloth across the chest of the Sequitors or something. I’m painting mine soon as well so I’ve been giving it a bit of thought. Looking nice. How are you gonna paint the gryph charger?
I still have to say I am not to sure about the cloth. Maybe soft tone and flow improver and do one test. I do not like to complain about what you do because it usually comes out amazing, so please don’t take this personally.
Slightly off topic, but does anyone have an idea on how to do olive skin?
I think @elromanozo may have done a video for that in his skin tone series.
He does look fairly Justiny.:) But without a beard he just doesn’t convey the right @dignity 😉
There is a bit of a John Malkovich look to him as well.
He almost looks like he might have been high ranking leader in a genestealer cult in a different life.
