I think the glow is spot on. The insight about wood and rope lightening with age is really helpful and complementary both to the paint scheme and being able to deal with the overspray from the glow. Brilliant!
Looks good. Much more visual interest with the glow from below ™ in place. Lol.
Personally would have preferred a blue effect to the glow for a starker contrast with the browns. But I think that’s probably just because I’m a deuteronope, so I’m not picking up the green at all.
That ‘glow’ looks stunning. I absolutely love it! I kinda liked it bfore it was faded into the ground too. That stark white really gave it a strong supernatural feel. But for a whole army I can see it might be a bit too strong. Now to wait for monday….
it’s been fascinating watching this paint scheme develop as you go. The glow looks really good, can’t wait to see them all painted up. Having less glow on the rank and file will be a really good way to help make the heroes stand out. Bring on Monday!
I love how simple this is but it’s so darn impressive. At first I wasn’t liking all the brown washes on the ghosts as it looked like dirty sheets but once you added the glow right in it really works.
Nice, to see this going through, as always you do us proud. Nice job, love the metal colour idea, something I shall be looking at again and i hate you you make everything look easy. lol. Good tips…
its just great how, just adding the glow and then the drybrush on the wood etc. makes the models so striking. simple techniques done really well by a great painter.
a game needs to be played with this army and the stormcast!! or at very lest a battle scene needs to be set up and pics taken.
its looking good now.
