Army Painter Guild Ball Kick Off! Sets Now Available
October 10, 2017 by brennon
The Guild Ball Kick Off! Paint Set is now available for you to snap up from The Army Painter.
Inside the set, you're going to get a series of themed paints which work well for the two teams present in the Kick Off! box and should help you on the way to creating a fully painted squad for the game.
Building on the pre-coloured models as a starting point you'll find that this kit has been matched up well it seems. Now, the real question is whether or not you paint up the Brewers or the Masons first.
Will you be picking this up?

nice a great new paint set to chose.
IMHO this is excellent idea and I hope they do this with other miniature lines. I would love if they did this for Star Wars Legion
It would be nice if they actually used the color names from their core line of paints, though. Somebody looking to buy/replace these bottles from the in-store paint rack is going to be some combination of annoyed / disappointed.
This is a great idea! What a way to get people started down the other parts of the hobby. I agree with @erion about the colors. The one thing I don’t like about all of these companies using weird names for colors that already have weird is it is hard to color match. With AP pushing their wonderful color match system for primers and paints this makes things a bit more complicated.
Overall I give the idea an A and the execution a B. Helping people get into the painting side is wonderful.
Army Painter offers an equivalency chart of colors across their products.

I’m assuming this doesn’t include the actual game? It isn’t hugely clear but common sense says ney
