Check Out Antenociti’s Brilliant Azure Dragon Yu Jing Dropship
July 6, 2016 by brennon
Antenociti's Workshop have shared both video and images of an amazing Yu Jing Dropship that will be coming to Kickstarter in July. See what you think of the Azure Dragon...
Here you can see the Dropship alongside one of the other vehicles in their range, the City Hopper. Considering we're in the midst of an Infinity week where we're looking at Yu Jing this would be fantastic for one of your missions.
There is going to be a strict limit on how many of these you can pick up from Antenociti's Workshop through their Kickstarter protect and the initial run seems like it will be around 120 pieces.
It seems like there will actually be an official profile for this dropship too which is rather epic!
What do you think?
"Considering we're in the midst of an Infinity week where we're looking at Yu Jing this would be fantastic for one of your missions..."
Oh no…. Beautiful, resin, signature, limited edition piece…… this is literally the worst type of plastic crack out there… my therapist warned me about this kind of purchase….
I am going to have to lock myself in my room for the entirety of this Kickstarter…..
I think we’re losing Olly… 😉
Good looking model, that is.
It’s a nice looking model but… £100? That’s a lot of pennies.
It looks to be a rather big (resin) kit, so I’m not all that surprised when it comes to the price (I imagine its limited availability contributes a bit to the price as well).
Plus, Antenociti’s kits tend to be very nice.
I get that it’s big but is it 4x bigger than their Hunchback APC, which is £25? And if this kit is £100, just think how much the Super Hawk will be when that comes out!
I second @fleetey ‘s motion that Antenociti’s resin kits are fabulous. Just finished two of their warthog ADV’s.
They are awesome and I don’t normally balk at paying for quality but I thrwith Red Veil just being released I fear I will end up waiting the 24months until they go to retail
This is an amazing piece. Why must Kickstarter torment me?!!
It is amazing.
No interest in yu jing would love a pan o or combined one
That looks great. So tempting.
A lovely model and one that could very well be THE drops ship for me after investigating many other options. The only question for me now, is: Do I go for one of these or wait and see if they do the Grendel afterwards?
It helps that the front of the ‘Dragon reminds me of the LAAT/I Gunship from Star Wars (which I love!)
Put me in mind of the LAAT as well. Might be cheaper for you to buy a toy LAAT and use that instead 😉
Revell do a fairly good one that you can just about get away with at 28mm, if you don’t look to closely at the cockpit
If you need a few, I would recommend Marvel’s quinjet. In the colonies you can get them at Walmart. $12 a throw with a detailed cargo bay. There are different types: one even has a RORO capability. Just need to obscure the cockpit detail, or build your own interior.
Link?
Gorgeous, but I’m still waiting for the Grendal!
looks great.
yujing slave one ,man that is sleek.
infinity you are killing my gaming budget.
not sure i’ll be one of the lucky folks to own one of these .
but I sure do want one.
The force is strong in this one.
I want this so bad, but my hobby budget for 2 months just went into the Red Veil GenCon preorder!
That is Awesome! Infinity keeps sucking me back in.
I’ve been looking forward to this one for a long time, it really is a beautiful piece… and as a strange silver lining to the Brexit it may well arrive while the exchange rate has dipped significantly in my favour!
Good, that i am not a yujing player, needing this piece for my table. 🙂 Beautiful.
Why only 120 of them ?:(
Hopefully everyone that wants one can get one !
Has there been any news on the actual release date ?
Antenociti’s Workshop is the best designer and producer of terrain for Infinity!
I love your buildings and vehicles. However, this dropship is the most impressive release for Infinity tables so far!!!!
I’ve built a landing pad for the ship after I’seen the first 3D-design pictures.
Therefore, I hope I can get one of the limited 120 dropships for my table!!!!!
Thought I saw something of Facebook about them bringing out some faction specific decals as part of this Kickstarter. Can’t find it now. Lovely looking ship.
It’s on their website

Thanks very much.
I’m curious to know when the vehicles funded by their previous kickstarter will be making it to retail. I’m very keen on the City Hopper
On the Azure Dragon link you sent me it mentions there’ll likely be a 12-24 month wait for the vehicle to come out after the KS. Could be October onwards for the city hopper. The Taruca Lautaro looks like the Meerkat Explorer on the Forward Base KS so maybe it’ll be out sooner.
I thought that delay was specific to the Azure Dragon drop ship, the City Hopper looks a lot less complex. There were quite a few vehicles in last year’s Kickstarter that I am very interested in not just for Infinity but also for Shadowrun.
I was reading their term Standard Production System as meaning any item cast in the same way but I could well be wrong. The Infinity forum has this:

Mention of it supposedly being available last April but still no sign. Shame, I like the look of it as well.
As much as I love Antenociti’s workshop their ability to stick to a timetable is poor. The Marrua Nemesis sports car was posted on their Facebook page on June 29th as being “out next week”. It’s still not available. I think perhaps they are sometimes a little bit optimistic with their estimates.
The Meerkat/Tauruca Lautaro was a pre-existing design from their old Governance of Technology range (which used to have some cool civilian miniatures). In fact a good portion of their Designed For Infinity vehicles range is lifted straight from Governance of Technology range. But since getting the licence fr Corvus Belli they have definitely expanded it a lot.
Ah ok.
…. Nemesis are out today as scheduled.

They look very nice 🙂 Any news on when the City Hopper will be available?
seldon9 – The City Hopper and SuperHawk will go into the ‘Production Queue’ in September. That doesn’t mean they will be released then, just that they will be ‘ready for release’. At the moment we’re thinking that the City Hopper will go straight into general retail with no *restrictions* – the SuperHawk we might have to put a monthly limit on… we’re being very cautious at the moment with new releases and production capabilities… as onlyonepinman commented on: historically we’ve not been particularly reliable on release dates, so we’ve changed how we do all of that. Included in that change… Read more »
I feel a bit overly critical now 🙁 I’m also crap with deadlines I’m just fortunate in that I don’t have to announce them publicly like you guys do!
I still love your AWI stuff, even if it the release dates can be a bit unpredictable. I’m currently waiting for the City Hopper and a couple of those Nemesis cars I think.
onlyonepinman – I wouldn’t let it worry you – you were/are entirely correct in what you said!
We’ve been making lots of changes over the last few months.. and lots of things still to change that will come into effect between now and.. phew… September/October *probably*, from a new website through to new technology in the casting room having just being proven…
its trying to squeeze everything in together whilst still producing stuff… interesting times. 🙂
Thanks for getting back to us. That works out quite well for me right now ‘cos I’m skint!
@antenociti While we’ve got you here 😉
Any chance you could make some cars that perhaps aren’t sports cars or eco-cars? A few normal sedans or something? All of my Shadowrun and Infinity games feel like they’re set in millionaire’s row!
Or how about a stretch limo? That would make a cool objective
Think my wallet just exploded. I think my nomads might need to “borrow” one.
Having read the article on their blog, I will probably back this kickstarter just to get the decals!
That is a very pretty model that would be great for many sci fi games. It is just a shame it is going to be so limited in availability.
That’s an expensive set of decals ! 😀
I think they’re kickstarting decals as separate products. On their facebook page they’ve previewed Bakunin sectorials and also the Nomads both of which include unit and faction shoulder badges
if they include previous KS pieces i may VERY SERIOUSLY buy large into this
with recent Brexit who knows what will happen to customs costs though… (crying shame, really)
It wont make any difference atm – #Brexit wont happen for (at least) 2 years and in the meantime nothing will change for customs: Commodity codes wont change for import or export and all current agreements remain in force until EU withdrawal is completed.
The only *major* thing at the moment is that the £ is weaker, so your $s and Euros go further… so if you are outside the UK its all good news atm.
Classy as always with Antenociti’s work. But really expensive this time…
