Meridian Miniatures Enter The Last Week Of Kickstarter
June 28, 2013 by brennon
Meridian Miniatures have entered the last week of their 'Steam & Aether' Kickstarter that is looking to bring some excellent Steampunk soldiers to the battlefield. Check out some of the updated additions below...
First up we have the Chaplain and Medic that, while in an early stage of production, look like they are going to be pretty nifty. The range as a whole looks pretty awesome when painted up and you can check them out in more detail on the fundraising page.
On top of the Chaplain and Medic there are also the unlocked Special Weapons that will help you expand your regiment. They all look like crazy contraptions with plenty of whirring cogs and valves and if someone could tell me what they think that trumpet thing does it would be appreciated!
The range as a whole looks like a lot of fun and I like the quality of the sculpts over all. It's nice to see a smaller company going far and getting enough capital to get their ideas off the ground.
What do you think?

The weapons look a little goofy. I guess its better than the same old same old.
Really impressed by some of the head options
Love the Sikh for example
I agree with @manpug about the weapons and also the way hey are being held.
Just something slightly off for me about them but is good to see something different and fitting with the Steampunk vibe being tried out,
