Make Tracks on Mad Robot’s Bike
June 9, 2013 by dracs
Mad Robot have announced their first small vehicle miniature; a Track Bike, the perfect method of transport for any pulp gamer.
Mad Robot's bike is perfect for all sorts of pulp style games. Depending on how you paint it it could easily be used in steampunk, as the invention of a mad scientist, or in Weird World War settings, like Secrets of the Third Reich.
While I can't see it being the most practical or fast moving of mounts it is nonetheless a fun addition to a game and I am tempted to pick some up myself to send my SOTR Brits out on.
Is Mad Robot on the right track?
The upright and somewhat stiff pose reminds me of Steve Zodiac on his Fireball XL5 hover chair (Why has no one invented a hover chair already. Have only been wanting one since first watching Fireball c1963!)
His outfit is a bit like a dispatch rider’s. That could be a useful role perhaps.
He looks a tad exposed for front line duties. But despite that is a cool idea imho
Steampunk treadbike sounds very cool!
ps for those young whippersnappers that have no idea what I am blathering on about and prolly don’t care:

dang link didn’t work, you will just have to google it. lol
Woohoo! The internets sticks again!
I wish I was a spaceman…
The fastest guy alive
I rather go with Spartan games version of a tread bike. This just looks way to stiff.
