Deadzone Goes From Strength To Strength On Kickstarter
April 29, 2013 by brennon
The Deadzone Kickstarter from Mantic Games has gone from strength to strength over the past few days. It reached it's goal within half an hour of going up but is now headed towards $250,000.
Above you can see some of the rewards from stretch goals that have been unlocked, and some that are yet to be discovered. One in particular that is pretty awesome is the Survivor, he looks insanely cool.
As well as him you have the addition of specialists to each of the teams, from snipers up to hulking Teraton Brute for the Rebs and even the roaring 2nd Generation plague victim.
Have you pledged to see this game come to life?

Am in on this Kickstarter as Mantic does a great job of offering cool miniatures, lots of stuff=value for the money (terrain this time around) and well designed games.
Every time I think I’m out, KS just sucks me back in!!!
Isn’t the concept a rip-off of sedition wars? Even down to the different phase zombies!
If you consider Sedition Wars the groundbreaker there, sure. *shrug*
Well honestly, look at almost the entirety of Mantic’s line up. They literally just take someones ideas, re-envision it, and put out mini’s that are not quite as high quality, but still pretty decent. There are a few exceptions here and there, but overall that’s pretty much what they do. I will give them this though, it may not be an original idea – again – but the quality of these is much better than what they normally put out.
Looking pretty promising, the sniper enforcer looks awesome imo.
