Get Playing DreadBall in the Arena of Amera Plastic
April 24, 2013 by dracs
It seems to be a common dream among players of fantasy football board games to create a cool looking arena in which to play their games. Now Amera Plastic Mouldings can help all you DreadBall players make this a reality.
This is a single piece white plastic mould, into which the DreadBall board can easily fit. The stadium walls give the appearance of a proper arena (once painted of course) and don't look to be so high that they could impede gameplay. Throw in a few advertising bill boards and you could have a really cool setting for your next cup match.
Do you think that Amera Plastic's arena could enhance your games?

Nice simple, sleek design. A winner for sure! Add some Christmas lights for flair and you’d have a killer Dreadball tourney!!
I like it. It gives that Subuteo feel and will solve the problem of (me) dropping the ball and counters on the pub floor.
Thats very sweet looking arena.
You could dress that up with a nice coat of paint and some extra details for a very fine looking terrain centerpiece as well. It would be pretty cool to have something like that to pull double duty.
I like its simplicity and many uses.
I really liked this when I saw it in Mantic’s newsletter. Being lightweight and hollow provides a lot of opportunities to jazz it up and hide electrical spaghetti. I have an overly ambitious idea of building a board out of clear hex bases to light from the side hoping the edges will illuminate. I’m sure my laziness will win out as it often does, though, and this would still dress up my board and add a little more cool factor.
Their web site isn’t too friendly to international orders (yet?), though, so my impulse buy was prevented.
Always great when a company responds quickly.. Even if their web site was set up for better international ordering, the shipping cost would murder any thought of actually buying it. When shipping is 200% of the product cost, it’s time to move on. lol
