Salute 2013: Painting Competition
April 20, 2013 by brennon
Salute 2013 is always good for inducing shiny syndrome and you will feel it even more so when you see some of the entries into this years painting competition!
We've seen a lot of the miniatures from today but above are some of those that managed to get towards the final winning stages. See what you think.
As you can see you have a nice assortment of Historical, Fantasy and Sci-Fi right now and this is just the beginning of the day. As time goes by we'll be getting more pictures of the awesome paint jobs and modelling that appears at Salute.
What's your favourite so far?
excellent painted figures
Nice.
Those fireforge games knights are the ones that caught my eye, just as models, I’d not seen any actual made models before, they look stunning.
They are only something like £17 for a box of twelve too, if I remember right.
They are fantastic models, as are the infantry, probably my “best of 2012” models. Did a coulpe reviews for them here:

That is a great selection of models and painted up well. The Squig fish jousting is the ones I like the most, just because they look so funny!
thanks for thanking a picture of my sweeny todd
Some stunning stuff here. That Orc shaman the Wierdboy’s based on is one of my favourite minis of all time.
Love the Bushido entry. Dude is mad talented he won last year and has won every GCT Studio painting competition they have ever done. His sculpting is amazing and the painting is top notch. Hope he wins this year too.
And apparently he won 1st price in the Fantasy Unit category. Awesome.
Is that Mr Dee’s Alice?
