Return of the Prime arc nodes? I don’t know. I guess the lancer has a little more game against colossals but the revenger seems like it may have lost ground. 6 points is still a lot for a light.
Whats that? Warren meant something else? Don’t be silly, what else could the rest of that sentence have been? 😉
Im painting my forgefather team black and copper/orange and calling them the Ishimura Engineers
I’m tempted to paint my Forge Fathers in red and white and call them the Titan Smegheads. 😉
*waits to see who gets the reference*
will the team captain be arnold rimmer? 😉
Not exactly. Here’s a hint – he’ll wear aviator glasses and a silver jacket when not on the pitch.
Sounds Ace…
Logo generator sounds great.
My season 1 teams are all based on NFL colour schemes, check them out here

Dreadball Batrep!!
Very disappointed in you taking the gear off. For a brief while my dog wasn’t afraid of looking at the screen.
Hmm…
Stu was a dead ringer for Dark Helmet at the start, well, given the colours, a Swedish Dark Helmet.
Loving the show. The weekender is currently my favourite thing on Beasts of War. The combination of Warren, Stu and Ming the Meaningless is awesome! Keep up the good work guys!!!
Wish ya all the best on your Birthday, Justin.
My next Dreadball team on the painting table is the Forge Fathers and I’m borrowing from the NFL as well. Ladies and gentleman I give you … the Minnesota Purplehelmets.
Ah, I see @jabbaa has beat me to it 🙂
Happy happy Justin!
Does nayone know if the ‘lite’ version of Dread Ball is worth picking up? I have so many games gathering dust on my shelves, I’m reluctant to pick up another system, but this game does seem to be gathering momentum.
Is it simple enough that the wife – a non-gamer – could play it?
If you mean Dreadball KickOff then it should be fine for a non-gamer to get the hang of. Once you’re both comfortable with what’s in KickOff you can grab the Extra Time set to get yourself a Ref, a deck of Dreadball cards and the full rules. And a spare ball – trust me, those things are so tiny you’ll want the spare.
You are better off going for the full game unless your budget is really tight
Stu had a great orc face when he lifted his visor
Really looking forward to the Malifaux articles/videos. As a rule, I don’t tend to start a new system until I see you guys review it or do a week of “x”. 🙂
Keep up the good work and I hope you recover from your majormanfluanitus Stewie. 🙂
Mick
I approve of your cold Stu. When you blown your nose I never seen Warren stop in his tracks as fast as that. I never laughed as hard as that for one of your antics. 😀
lol damn you sopranos ending!! *shakes fist*
Well Justin must have been happy not having the extra work of putting any beebs on this one I think warren was giving an early present
DreadBall is a great game. Heres my first team, Corp (male or female)
The Judges. Back story directly ripped from the Mega City Judges, player clones are rampant, theres even an Anderson.
The Sod N Nancys, Orx, Sods the little one!
Ace Truckers (Old School 2000AD), Vermyn. Chiefys been up to something 🙂
Damage Inc, ForgeFathers, Insurance company, “Cos Shit Happens”.
