Thanks for yet another great vid
It’s what I do !
Nice tattoo
Thanks !
I think this may be my favourite of Romain’s videos. An odd little detail, but full of ideas.
Nice work R!
Awww… Now I’m blushing !
No need to blush. Quality will out!
You have set the bar for yourself though… and you’re the one who has to get over it next time 🙂
Setting the bar high ? Yes… I suppose… like sex on a stepladder, really.
Don’t you worry, I’ve got even better tutorials in store !
Fantastic tutorial, real like the way you focused on the ephasis on the material. WHile on the trollbloods have I missed or would it be possible to do a tartan tutorial. I have followed the PP guide but just seems to be lacking something – if thats my colour selection or skill level or the fact I think I may need to look at shading the different colours more equally or not I am not sure.
Thanks a lot ! You just made my day…
I’ve done a Tartan tutorial on William Wallace, the Infinity miniature. It’s somewhere in backstage… I probably will do another tutorial about tweed and/or tartan in the future, but you’ll have to make do with this one in the meantime.
Happy painting !
Credit were its due, and will look up the tartan tutorial, thanks
Hey, Romain – My daughter, 3 years old, like to watch 3 Colors Up at bed time. She picked out a Reaper Bones miniature to paint. We are working on spooky forest trees, too. You might enjoy seeing her first painting video.

Awwww… precious !
You’re raising her well !
That’s so cool, I love how you’ve made a textured effect from transparent layers.
Romain, what is your pallet made up of? I can see a wet sponge layer but can’t make out the top sheet.
