Frightening!
I’ve always thought that the playability of Chaos forces is mainly against other chaos forces. These vids (this book) is not dispelling that.
What I’d be most interested in, a departure from the normal theme week routine, is how to beat a well tooled up Chaos army, that’s going to take out your cannon or other monster killer artillery in turn 2.
I found that the best way to take on the army was with buff spells or debuffs such as withering or melkoths miasma to minimalise the ammount of dammage you take. Also redirecting units to receave a flank charge so combat res works for armies with numbers.
Good coverage, my current favoured lord is mark of nurgle, glittering scales, talisman of preservation and sword of anti heroes on a barded steed. -2 to hit, 1+ armour 4+ ward and +1 S and A for each enemy character in the dame combat at ws 8, most things are on 6s to hit.
forgot the scaly skin mutation.
