Fantasy Flight Studio show of their new Mansions of Madness tile base game.

Mansions of Madness

In the game, players take on on the role of investigators, as they work their way through creepy mansions, trying to solve mysteries in a world based upon the literary works of H.P. Lovecraft.

Now, I have no idea how the game plays, as it's only just released, but based on the video, it looks like it could be fun. Certainly the game seems to have the quality that we have come to expect from FFS. The artwork looks to be top notch. The tiles have an atmospheric air to them, which sits well with the assortment of cards and counters that are included with the game.

On the other hand, the miniatures look OK. They might not be worth painting up for your display cabinet, but they are more than good enough for a nights gaming... which is what they are for after all.

There's quite a number of miniatures included too, with a total of 24 monsters and a dozen or so types of player character, that's quite a range, for an initial release.
