I like the sound of the way Texico play, so they will probably be the faction for me. The Marshall has also influenced my decision. To be honest I think I would have picked Texico however they played, with his two guns he’s just cool.
I’ve liked the look of Mercs for some time, but the artwork for Texico is what sealed it for me and convinced me that, eventually, I will have this game 🙂
(Helps I share The Marshall’s taste in headgear)
Heres the kicker ya I have heard of this game before, but week before last the guy who runs my favorite LGS was stting down and painting a box of this faction I believe. I come back the following day to see like four or five guys also putting together starter kits they have all got there kits put together. Granted it is pretty cool then seeing it as a featured week on BoW. I am starting to get into the videos here. I’m loving the fluff and models for these guys, just torn between them and the ccc really….
And any ideas how the traps work?
The traps work by requiring an enemy model who uses the bound advanced rule to draw a card from a trap deck of 2-6 cards giving a 50-50 chance of setting of a trap off. when a trap is set off roll a d10 on a chart that comes in the Texico card pack. On a 1 No Trap, On a 2-3 entangling trap, On a 4-7 Gas Trap, 8-9 Frag Trap, 10 La Cucaracha.
Nice!! That’s awesome! Thanks for the info
This my friends it the team I’m aiming for.
Its odd I find that most of the characters in the setup to be Texas with the Jaguar being the one Aztec reference. Not downing the Jag it was said you could use that weapon to cut the head off a horse. If you are wondering how I am getting my point of view watch the John Wayne western Big Jake.
