More Concept Art For The World Of Arena Rex!

We showed off the gladiatorial skirmish game Arena Rex not long ago and they have now released a selection of new concept art for the game as well as announcing a competition!
This artwork is a departure from the style we saw before, looking at more realism but still retaining that slight anime feeling. This could be a hint towards what the miniatures themselves will actually look like when they get sculpted.
Talking of miniatures you can now enter a competition to win one of their first sculpts!
All you have to do is join their Facebook, Twitter or Mailing List over on their website and you will be entered into a draw to win Aquila!
This game is looking stylish, so let's hope the mechanics are too!

I wonder if this system could be used for the combat section of the Spartacus boardgame. I think the arena side of spartacus is just lacking a little but I do like the rest of the game.I will watch this with a little more interest.
Immediately it reminded me of how cool it was playing Pit Fighter with the old Mordheim rules lol.
