The Occult Drops In On Clockwork Goblin Miniatures

Clockwork Goblin Miniatures have got themselves a new concept artist and they have previewed some potential upcoming models which are looking great. Check out these haunting horrors below...
Nachtjager...
Shreckwulfen...
Zombie...
These certainly have a more cartoonish edge to them and it would be great to see them recreated on the tabletop in both 15mm and 28mm scale. The Shreckwulfen are my favourite, I have rather a soft spot for werewolves.
This certainly makes me reconsider playing as Allies in their game. I might have to switch allegiance and look to the Reich for my Weird World War fix.
What do you think of this art direction?
I always wonder with these monsters in WWW, how do they get them to wear uniforms … “Here you go, herr Nachtjager, if you’d just put on these pants and wrap the puttees carefully around your legs and you’re all set to go out and viciously murder some allied troops in a torrent of blood …”
It’s easier than you may think. Even monsters like to look cool.
Ah, that explains it. Being German the above probably even have ironed lines on their pants.
I think of it like Hellboy. They are not totally monstrous and so retain plenty of their personality. So when pressed into service they don whatever uniform they have too.
Plus I suppose it helps on the battlefield so your allies don’t freak out and start shooting you.
