The Unithorn Gallops Out Of Legend & Myth With Warploque
January 30, 2013 by brennon
So you guys saw the concept for the Unithorn over the weekend but Warploque have been quick off the draw and there is already a miniature version for us to show you. Check it out below...
Now if that isn't a perfect beast of burden I don't know what is. I love the skeletal horse design which is usually so weird looking and how they have mixed in this selection of spikes and barbs to make it even more terrifying.
It's as if the forest itself has witnessed the death of a Unicorn and instead of it passing into the afterlife the beast was reanimated by the woodland and now seeks to hunt down those who killed it.
An awesome miniature for mounting your heroes?

I think it a good Wood Elves Unicorn with the brambly aspect and reanimated by Athel Loren.
Warplogue’s best to date imho
Would also double up for a D&D monster.
It still has a tail tho
Well that’s a thorn like tail lol. You can see the barbs on the end.

Interesting take on a skeletal horse. Good idea, the thorns allow it to fit in with armies other than undead which should make it suitable for a wider audience.
I like it. Grant it I was hoping for more thorns on it. They may have done this so casting will be smoother. This is promising for the rest of the model line.
