Such is the problem of plastic miniatures, the cost of making the mold is prohibitively expensive, so they couldn’t risk having multiple aspiring champion models competing with one another for sales.
Given the above, wouldn’t it have made more sense to make a single body and include options for different weapons/wargear? OR at least make it compatible with bitz from the various chaos unit sprues?
Am I seeing this right?
£12 for ONE monopose plastic 28mm heroic infantry minature?
Can anyone justify this, rather than just converting a ‘normal’ Chaos Marine out of the multiple multipose minature boxes sets?
this was one of the straws that broke the camels back…. if it aint on ebay it aint in my army and £12 bucks is a fecking scandel…. its £15 for the termy lord with all the options, enough is enough folks… i hate to gw bash all the time but ffs..

Sorry I know some of you guys will not mind paying, but for the amount of plastic you get it should be half that price.
Now you mention it, he does look a bit like John Major, IE grey and boring.
I really don’t know if this will take off. On one hand, its not finecast, which is good, on the other hand its a limited pose plastic sprue about a quarter of the price more than a finecast sergeant. Yes! Plastic, not Finecast! Shame about the price, but at least if you buy one, you can do so with confidence that it will be error free.
I can’t help wondering if GW have finally realised that Finecast is an epic failure, and this is their alternative…
