I like the Daemon prince. I just wish he had more options. Some day the Chaos will be restored with lots of cool things to kill the empires forces.
Personally I’d probably go for Fabius Bile, mostly because I love his model, but also who doesn’t love a good old fashioned mad scientist? Can anyone seriously say they don’t like this guy?

I just use a Warsmith and a Tzeentch Sorceror in my army as im still making my Lucius Model
the abaddon model is well in need of a revamp. hes still in his childinator suit he does need to eat his porridge in the mornings…. his body guard are much bigger than him its so cute……

On a note with Abaddon, his rules list the combined effects for his daemon weapon and the talon of horus are double his strength and +D6 attacks. As this is a combined effect of the two weapons, he doesn’t get +1 for two close combat weapons.

Yes. Abaddon takes two spots and Kharn takes one, leaving room for seven ‘zerkers.
Daemon prince with lash and a 4+ invunerable save ?? Is it not supposed to be 5+?
Yes. Demon princes with lash cannot have a 4+ invulnerable. The Tzeentch ones have a 4+ invul save, but they obviously can’t have lash.

I’m not much of a 40k, and I have even less experience with Chaos Marines, but I just wanted to knoow is Kharne the Betrayer actually worth taking? I mean won’t he mainly just kill your own guys?
I think I’d say no. For his points cost he is pretty fearsome but he can be instant killed and on rough estimate probably kill a guy each round of combat. CSM don’t come cheap…
Well he’s a character who always hits on 2s which is better than anyone else. He only hits his own on 1s and that’s a risk I’m willing to take especially If he’s with the right unit that can survive if he hits them like terminators or 1k sons. That immunity to psykers is also nothing to laugh at as I don’t know of anything else that does quite that. I would be sad to see that rule changed in the next codex. You forgot Huron Blackheart, and Lucious ! both very deadly lucious has a doom siren ! Black heart warps time with his rat! but the best story of a fabious Army was i took 3 squads of 6 man enhanced csm with mark of slannesh in 3 rhinos 2 dread’s, Fabious some noise marine and 2 defilers day 1 local tourny game 3 rolled on the enhanced table got on 2 and two 6’s . turn 3 6 dead marine’s in rhinos from overdose the good squad was totally annihilated buy my own dreds on fire frenzy rolls ! i… Read more »
Well IF Kharn falls into a giant pit due to Jaws then Trygons/Ravengers will just come back to the table the next turn lol.
Here’s a question about Lucius. If Lucius gets Power Fisted by a Space Marine Sgt (I’m sure Lucius wouldnt mind getting Fisted) and he fails one save and makes a successful invul save does the Space Marine Sgt die?
yes! for each good save roll he causes a wound with saves!
On page 53 of the chaos codex it said fabius BIKE under his wargear! lolz have any of you noticed that?

Were is Lucius the Eternal, typhus and the Tyrant of Badab? They are pretty good characters, prefer them over Abaddon who is a chump in my opinion.
I played 2 games against my friend who runs abaddon and out of 8 total rounds of combat with him he rolled a 1 5 times. I told him that’s what he gets for turning his back on the god emperor.
Comical to hear any Space wolf player complaining when something in the game disregards the cheesiest psychic power ever written. So one player the whole chaos codes disregards jaws…..oh well don’t worry there is plenty more cheese in the spacewolf codex to go through a barrel of wine.

A late answer but i always play a really bad ass demon prince spec. Basically you pick wings and sorcerer with warptime. Granted that you make the test for warptime you get the following 12″ flight, 6″ charge 4 attacks (if i recall) and another one for charge Hits at 3+ against pretty much anything and rerolls any misses Wounds at 2+ against pretty much anything and again rerolls failed Finally he ignores normal armour saves Adding upon this a mark with +1 attacks or perhaps lower your 5+ save to 4+ and you can get another spell in which… Read more »
Alright. really. WE NEED A RESOLUTION ON FABUIS BILES ENHANCED WARRIOR RULE! I can get furius charge for free even dreadnaughts playing blood angels. in the chaos codex I have to pay +3 points a peice and they die constantly just for +1 streingth where blood angels get +1 str and + 1 Int w/o having to pay for it or getting hurt… I say every form of chaos space marine gets it. so not deamons but really if you are willing to pay the points let us have it!
