Darrel hate to break the news to you, but you are right and wrong in this video. According to the rules you cannot charge a unit that is behind a hill or piece of impassable terrain that blocks line of sight, but you can charge units inside a building that you cannot see. Otherwise units inside bastions and other fortifications would be impossible to assault.
Except don’t you actually assault the building then allocate a wound for each glancing/penetrating hit as per attacking buildings Pg 93. The only time you assault a unit in a building is when you and your opponent are both in adjacent sections of the same multi part building, (pg 92) and that follows it own special rules not the standard assault one, no charge roll; no overwatch etc.. Ruins aren’t actually “buildings” anyway are they since they don’t have an armour value- in much the same way a wreck isn’t a vehicle.
What do ruins have to do with assaulting buildings? gda1369 says units in buildings, using assaulting a unit in a bastion as an example.

all the tutorial videos for 40k are about hand to hand combat, do the miniatures even carry guns anymore in 6th edition?
nope guns are for the lesser races!
6th’s changes have made it so that unless you know when and how to get into close combat, or avoid getting into it at the wrong moment, and a lot more of the changes affect close combat than shooting. Cool guys can you do tutorials on all the new special rules eg. Supersonic etc. Its good when you compare you contrast from 5th to 6th, helps get your head around the new rule.
Thing is you can “see” a unit in a building given that you’re really attacking the building itself just like a vehicle.

Nah too cheese, if you know that it might be someone there you should be able to charge ( maybe with some extra diff ) and the defendants if they know that someone is going to charge them they should get bonus for the snapfire rolls.
Is more like you know something is coming at you or something is there and you can prepare yourself for the reaction. Maybe a leadership roll or something. I want a imperial guard screaming “AMBUSH!!” and chop his head of with my chainaxe 😀
Yep. They are right on this one. However, on the flip side, if you are the assaulter and you can only see one enemy model, that is all they get to overwatch with. This is a case where hiding behind the intervening terrain can be both beneficial and detrimental.
The piece of terrain at the end is a ruin and you can move straight through walls with no impediment to you distance or any kind of terrain test required. also you do not have to draw line of sight for assault within a piece of terrain. Troops are considered to be armed with cutting materials to knock down walls if need be. Look at the ruins section in the brb.
