Wait is over. I was waiting this starter box so that I could start Circle army and maybe Everblight as well. This is great year to be miniature wargamer.
Placed one on order. I do like the PP stuff.. Had my eye on these two factions for a while so when they announced this box I was just waiting for its release.

What would be a better all rounder warlock for Circle?
@solaaris: kreugar is the more point and click power caster for the circle and baldur is real nasty with megalith and a bunch of constructs.
Kaya vs. Lelith is a really poor match up for circle as spirit door is Kaya’s assasination trick but it only has a range of command so it’s REALLY easy for Lelith to avoid. However it’s good against squishy caster’s who need to stay close to their beasts as all you do is spirit door a feral warpwolf into melee range and buy as many extra attacks as you need to kill them.
I’d really like to buy this set and introduce my friends to hordes, but I sort of “have to” get some more stuff for my Orks first, and then start with some warhammer fantasy Ogres. I simply dont have the time (or money) to do all three at the same time:-(
But if I had, I would keep the Circle of Orboros army:-P

Beast of War keep making the same mistake about pKaya. You never teleport a beast to the enemy, you always teleport the best away from the enemy! You move up or charge, then you Spirit Door it back to safety. The spell says that the placed model can not move or attack afterwards.
What I mean is you NEVER Spirit Door a feral warpwolf or any other warbeast into melee. Can not believe how this mistake has become so widespread…
@baxx: it’s because so many people have played mk1 where spirit door allowed you to teleport almost anywhere you liked in kaya’s CMD without suffering from free strikes. I’ve always assumed I knew how to use her primal form and have never re-read the rules for her until recently.
I’d much rather buy a war wolf, call it Laris, and play her epic form!
