Learn the Magic of the Cards with Anakron Miniatures
September 5, 2012 by brennon
If Gambit from the X-Men has shown us anything, it's that a playing card can be a powerful tool. This is the same knowledge The Card Mage from Anakron Miniatures is looking to pass on, check him out...
I like his trickster style hood and outfit, making him seem a lot nicer than he probably is. The sculpting is amazing, and I love the way they have modeled his fingers holding that card. As far as I can tell from the site (which is all in French...) he will be restricted to one hundred pieces when he is finished and released on their webstore.
He reminds me of characters from Cadwallon actually.
What do you make of this master of the cards?
I guess he never walks through doorways.
“Here it is finally over: The Cartomancer! It is visible in the gallery of sculptures. It should go under the molding can and will soon be available on the store , in a first version limited to 100 copies with a few surprises! In the meantime I’ll let you discover the sculpture (plusisuers angles visible in the gallery) and the stunning concept Nico KOPF in the gallery of concepts”
Google translate.
Like very much
I can see him as a villain, a very tricksy villain!
One to keep an eye out for.
Thats a nice model. I get that Cadwallon feeling as well as Ben mentioned.
I think I remember seeing the concept art for this guy in Kinetic7.
Great as that cheesy bad guy. Already thought up great things for such a character in my PFRPG campaign. 🙂
