Start the Seminole Wars of Black Powder with Warlord Games

The Seminole Wars are beginning soon in the world of Black Powder from Warlord Games and here are some of the main combatants. Check out the Seminole Warriors and their enigmatic leaders below...
Meaning 'Wild People' or 'Runaway' these Natives were a force to be reckoned with in what is now Florida. Clashes with the United States forces were inevitable and fighting was rampant between 1816 and 1858.
The Maroons add to the interesting nature of the Seminole. Composed of runaway slaves from plantations and such they were welcomed into the Seminole tribes, fighting back against white aggression. Some eventually moved and settled in Mexico, avoiding the clutches of ruthless slave catchers.
And last but not least are Osceola & Tuko-See-Mathla, two of the leaders during the wars. While Osceola was a thorn in the side of the United States Tuko-See-Mathla tried to keep the peace between the whiteman and the natives. Osceola rose to be the embodiment of Native rebellion during the period and practiced a ruthless stance on anyone who co-operated with the US soldiers and colonies.
Some fantastic models for an interesting period in history.
Will you be joining forces with the Seminole for this conflict?

Nice figures as usual. WG have managed to capture the flavour and style of the period.
Superb figures and I see from the link to their website that this is only the first release in their 500 nations range with conquest miniatures.
Exciting times ahead. Wheres my Warpaint
