Hasslefree Miniatures Release A Bullish Warrior
August 8, 2012 by brennon
Check out a few of the interesting bits and pieces coming out of Hasslefree Miniatures for August. I reckon most of you will guess which is my favourite from this group...
I would let you guess, but he's up here first anyway! I really like this miniature, a mix of the ancient and the medieval in a fantasy warrior. I like the charging bull on his shield, which is then mirrored in that horned helm. A great model for Role-Playing.
As well as the Fantasy warrior there is also a selection of Modern Warfare miniatures, including the soldier above. I quite like this current range of Spec-Op style models, it's bought out some really good looking sculpts.
Do you like Guillermo as much as me?
Like the warrior lots, the scale armour looks super.
Good pose too.
Love both of those miniatures, really really dynamic poses which, from what I’ve experienced, are quite different from the usual ‘roaring’ or ‘taking cover’ poses which normally go with warrior or spec-ops type miniatures. Cool stuff!
All good except for the horns on the helmet. They would actually get in the way of his sword. Quick fix I suppose, trimming them up or knocking them off entirely and adding something else. This also has possibilities for a mounted conversion, if you’re going to use him as a PC with both a foot and horseback model.
He kinda reminds me about those warriors of the Ares from that animated Wonder Woman movie. I think that this is actually very well detailed sculpt.
