Delve Behind the Scenes of The Lord Inquisitor
July 19, 2012 by dracs
Progress with the fan made 40K film The Lord Inquisitor seems to be progressing well with the release of the new teaser back in May. But if you fancy seeing how this ambitious project is being made then you're in luck as a series of "Making of" videos detailing the process of creating the teaser are now going up on YouTube.
The first part in this series has been published detailing the creation of the new Torquemada model. It's always nice to see the effort that goes into making a film and this is especially true of a fan made project like this. All I can say is we at Beasts of War wish him the best of luck and can't wait to see more.
What are your thoughts on this? Do you fancy diving behind the scenes?

What a work of art. Just blows my mind knowing how much work is going into this.
i like what im seeing but i think it almost looks too simple now to be power armor, but thats just my thinking.

It’s not too far off what the model has, though the model seems to have more Astartes style armour with the “flexi pipe” joints rather than the almost medieval arming jacket and plate mail look, but frankly animating the ribbed bellows on the joints would be far more work than its worth to get it looking any better than horrible.
Plus Coteaz is pretty powerful, he probably owns more than one suit…
its not power armour its artificer armour ;D
