I’ve had Azumi from studio Mcvey on the back burner since April. This tutorial will be worth a second viewing when i finally get around to painting her.
I’m also in the middle of painting my Bushido starter set and looking to get some more models obviously quite a bit of silk involved there.
It’s all very good timing on your part Romain
Thank you !
I’m glad I could help…
For anyone who has trouble getting P3 paints (I couldn’t find any in my local area for years until recently as Warmahordes has grown more popular) another paint that closely matches Frostbite is Ghost White from Reaper. It’s an extremely versatile color. I thought I’d use it once in a while for specular highlights on midtone blue surfaces, but it’s turned out to be one of my most used colors for highlighting all kinds of cool-toned surfaces.
Quite right !
Vallejo has a variant of this as well, ice blue, and Foundry must have one in their large range… But I like my paints less liquid.
Thanks for the tutorial Romain, and amazing results for that cape, specially like the shadows.
I’d think Space Wolves grey (or whatever way GW call it nowadays) + White would do if you don’t have Frostbite.
Thanks !
I think you would have to mix white and blue to get that specific hue, since Space Wolf grey is a bit too desaturated… but it would work fine on the figure.
