Warploque Uncover Barrow Wights & a Fey Enchantress!
June 25, 2012 by brennon
Warploque Miniatures are back with more models to pre-order! This time around it's not all halflings but don't fret there's at least one of them still in the release schedule!

I don't know if it was intentional but it seems Warploque Miniatures might have created a few alternative models for Tom Bombadil and his enchanting companion Goldberry! Tying this loosely together is the arrival of the Barrow Wight too, which were located near the woods Bombadil controlled.
In case some of you think I'm mad the models would be great for a quirky yet awesome Lord of the Rings set. This isn't to discount the human knight from the proceedings who looks like he's just killed someone and raised his helmet to see how far the head rolled.
What do you think of the latest Warploque creations?

The first one with the raised helmet is unique due to that. I like seeing some story in the models I buy.
More of that finely done ‘animated series’ style from Warploque. Every figure also has a little movement in it, from the halfling’s wide-armed gesturing to the knight simply lifting the visor on his helmet. The Barrow Wight coming with a grave makes him perfect for D&D (first the DM puts the grave on the table, then when it’s examined…BAM!) and the druidess would make an excellent Spellsinger in WHFB – lovely models.
Looking kinda sexy there Judge Mortis…
