Death Stalks the Land from Puppets War

PUPPETS WAR HAVE ANOTHER PREVIEW...ahem, sorry don't know what happened there! Check out this Work-in-Progress miniature from Puppets War for the Grim Reaper himself...
So what do you think? I'm loving the look so far and the almost ethereal looking scythe just adds to the dark and dangerous feeling. He could be used as a Cairn Wraith in a Vampire Counts army, possibly being a general or feature model within a large undead force. No soul is safe!
Will you be looking out for the Grim Reaper from Puppets War?

How dynamic ! I’ve rarely seen a death or specter in that sort of pose… Or as well done.
Definitely – he’s low to the ground like he’s stalking some poor soul he’s marked for death rather than floating as ethereal beings are usually shown to do – reminds me of Master Tormentor Morghoul from Hordes.
Great fabric sculpting on the cowl and robe and the pitting on the scythe makes it seem like it’s done a lot of work…dark work killing people that is. He could be a Cairn Wraith or even a Master Necromancer who’s passed too close to the other side, or a boss monster in an RPG – this is a very cool model.
Have to agree with the above.
Super looking sculpt.
The idea of holding the scythe behind gives an impression of casual reaping of souls, like it is all too easy.
It seems he’s going for the low blow. For death it really gives some life to the model.

I have to mention PUPPET WAR tho and how truly great their output is at the moment. Great sculpt on this and their conversion bits are outstanding both sculpt and production wise as well (i have some of their product but done nothing with them yet!). PW are setting a great standard. Love their stuff. DEFIANCE GAMES as well. Somebody take my headphones off and put a FOOKING… Read more »
