Acheson’s Deep Ones Have a Point to Make
June 12, 2012 by brennon
Acheson Creations have conjured up more Deep Ones from the murky depths ready to scare you silly in your games of Cthulhu inspired horror. Check them out below...
Just about ready to stick you with that rather large harpoon. Also if you're developing an amphibious or undersea army then they might be a good addition to your pile of goodies. You can just imagine a horde of these fellows storming the beaches of some moody seaside town.
Will you go fishing for these Deep Ones?
A nice sculpt and an interesting take on Deep Ones – the squat, muscular frame (that isn’t streamlined as a fish would be) and the steel harpoon and leather satchel (not made from sea materials) suggest a version more suited to land dwelling but happens to be able to survive longer underwater than a human. This guy would make a great swamp monster, but I’d like to see some more poses released before I make a whole army from them as otherwise they’ll look repetitive rather than organic.
That sculpt looks great. Its so well detailed and that pose is very dynamic. He looks like he means busines when he is attacking with that spear.
FISH MEN YES!!!
Hmmm something fishy about these
Would use these in DnD. Sahuagin slopping around damp dunnies would be cool.
Nice sculpt with a nasty looking spear…
We’re getting a lot of nice fish men models of late – how about sharing your thoughts on your fish men army here on the cthulhu hub forum
