Cipher Takes Anima Tactics to Church
June 5, 2012 by dracs
Cipher have started shipping out some new stuff for Anima Tactics, including one lovely young lady named Anna Never and the Church Boxed set to get you started in ecclesiastical matters.
First lets meet Anna Never.
The young merchant Anna Never is a complete mystery. As she travels around Gaia she seems to unconsciously position herself to be involved with major issues and problems facing the world. Additionally she has exhibited martial abilities unheard of for a girl of her age an apparent lack of training to possess.
Then of course we have the new starter set to help get you set out on the righteous road of religion in Anima Tactics.
In this box set you will find these key members of the Church:
Alis Testarossa
Azriel
Grey Rhodes
Luzbell
Nero
Xavier
Definitely not the sort of people you might expect to find in your average church, but then Anima Tactics doesn't exactly do average.
Are there any budding church members here?

Like Anna, I think. The cheeky pose is slightly odd because a thumbs up when some other faction is trying to pop yer peppermints out in a painful way is well erm cheeky.
Alis Testarosa has nice small wings, has Azriel JRPG antogonist look, Grey has that old though guy look, Luzbell looks fierce, Nero has nice looking armor and Xavier has also that JRPG antogonist look that. All those have well detailed sculpts with nicely dynamic poses.
Beautiful models – easily the equal of Infinity. Mind you they share a sculptor and painter so I’m not surprised! I especially like the sense of movement in Xavier and Nero, the way the clothes flow with them is just gorgeous. Grey Rhodes stands out too with the macho, challenging way he holds his weapons despite being more static. One odd thing – the box set models are I think older sculpts that match the artwork in every aspect, while Anna is new and has a completely different pose and mood, cheery with her thumb up compared to her demure… Read more »
Some of them are great models, very close to the art work. Some not so much. I can see some used for RPG.
