I am liking way that sculpt looks. Based on that pose I assume that those stairs are part of sculpt.
Clearly, patriotism knows no subtlety! But at least I can replace pumpkin-headed Ashlynn with flag-waving Ashylnn in my Highborn force and the overall quality of the sculpt is much better than the original.. even though the pose is a little.. stiff?
Is this a metal or resin figure? I like the pose as any Highborne is a cut above the rest!

Hey is it me or does it look like she’s in the middle of delivering a musical number? Clearly this is the first miniature from the new game at Privateer Press: “Highborn – The Musical”
Now there’s a stirring model – banner flying high, sword thrust out in commanding pose, classical style of armour and sword guard – very like an idealised Joan of Arc really. I like the wartorn edge to the banner too, really proves she’s not just a pretty face but has seen combat. Great looking model.
Ashylynn has been one of the funnest casters I’ve played; and I have been using a proxy/conversion to represent her for as long as I’ve had mercenaries. I am delighted she has a resculpt up to PP’s current high quality.
Hopefully Magnus the traitor is next in line for a trip to resculptville.

Thank god for the resculpt – the way her old model looked was the main thing stopping me from getting her (that and my incomplete Cygnar and Khador armies, of course) and I’ve been saying to myself for a while that unless Ashlynn got a resculpt then my first mercenary warcaster was going to be Captain Damiano.

Yep, metal, and the stars/crown are molded relief into the banner for ease of painting. I’m painting her up right now, and she is a pleasure: both to assemble and paint. On a cracked stone base she really looks as though she’s leading a force to reclaim an ancient Llaelese keep!
