Another video update for the world of Tor Gaming's Relics and its ever increasing IndieGoGo faction, the Nuem. This time they take a look at the Specialis Pueri...
This is the concept art that most of you will have seen before. But of course the real reason you're here is to see the way the sculpts are progressing is it not?
Incredibly like their concept art don't you think! One of the changes though for me is that these models look a lot more sinister than first portrayed and I can imagine a lot of people leaving those wide evil eyes stark white as a contrast to the rest of the model summoning up its eldritch power.

Nuem is shaping up very well. Specialis Pueri is looking very sinister dispite her small size and relatively innocent look.
The concept art has the Specialis Pueri looking more demure and I thought that being higher in rank was the reason for a contrast between them and the rest of the Nuem…I was wrong… 😉 Both sculpts have subtle touches to tie them into the theme of pain, from the piercing to hold up the cloth covering their bits, to the claws, even to the chains on their robes. Mounted on perspex rods maybe?
The Nuem are shaping up as one of the most interesting range across all games imho.
Well done all involved in their creation.
You could mount them on rods if you want but they have been sculpted so their cloaks will touch the ground so they are mounted on normal bases – No no need to mount them if you don’t want too and none of that bloody nightmare of the stems breaking on you!
I was thinking of a short stem pinned to a base rather than a GW style wine glass stem/base
Problem is you would see the pin and it would prolly detract from the idea floating anyway
Maybe just have a longer pin covered by some grass but allowing space underneath part of the cloak.

Well, it looks like we are just a mere $260 odd away from the next target and us having dice made and added to the pile of stuff!!
That means it’s just $2860 odd away from us also adding another unit to the pile!

Yep this are very very nasty indeed ( the chopped off feets was a really step forward in the Nuem spirit 😛 ).
Well, we beat the target last night folks! So, that means the dice are now added to the pile!
