Warlord Take You Camping
May 23, 2012 by dracs
Its time to break out the marshmallows and build up the bonfire with Warlord's new plastic tents from Renedra.
These Saxon tents would be great to build up the encampment of an invasion force in the times of the Dark Ages. Of course, when you have set up your camp you need to build yourself some walls for defend.
These will help you to easily build yourself some Dark Age era terrain. Although I don't know which I like most, these terrain pieces or the image of a bunch of Saxon warriors roasting marshmallows.
Do any of you play historical games in this era? Think you might use them for something like SAGA?

Tents on the gaming board…great idea for an ambush scenario. Imagine playing a game where you catch a whole army napping and have to kill as many as you can before they can rally. Could help tip the odds during a campaign to whittle down a player’s forces for a more even final battle.
As for the walls, I was thinking about fencing for this:

Looks like I’ve found some…they’d be great charge blockers for mass battle games as well.
