Anima Tactics Welcomes The Wolf and A Saint
May 21, 2012 by brennon
Anima Tactics from Cipher Studios has some fantastic anime inspired miniatures in its range. So let's see what you make of the two latest additions, a murdering wolf and a saintly lady.
First up is Wolfgang, a psychopathic murderer with a love of battle and blood. Even if doesn't kill you with his blades, the blood of the Naga in his veins will poison you with a single touch.
On the other side of that rather bloody coin is the saintly Sarah Reinhold. A stalwart believer with amazing powers, she is a force to be reckoned with.
But if you're looking for something with a few more models to get your teeth into then Cipher Studios have released the Azur Boxed Set containing six of their wonderfully crafted miniatures.
All in all this is looking like a rather splendid haul for fans of Anima Tactics.
Will you be siding with the Wolf or the Saint?

I don’t think Anima Tactics has a single duff model in the line – these new sculpts look great. I like the clear brutality in Wolfgang with his ragged hair and furs contrasting with the hard-edged armour, not to mention those massive blades. He’d be a good Chaos lord…with some extra skulls of course. 😉
Sarah doesn’t look like her concept art which is very demure, but she’s still impressive with her dynamic pose and clothes and hair being whipped around in the wind – it’s almost like the model is moving. Lovely stuff.
Both are very well sculpted and detailed. How ever Wolfgang reminds me about Ganondorf from Legend of Zelda games and I like his sculpt little more than I do like Sarah Reinhold’s sculpt.
Top marks for weapon silliness on Wolfgang.
Yeah, but Sarah has the Holy Hand Grenade!
Something else for my daughter to bash up my Sammies with! 🙁
Wolfgang’s weapons actually remind me of those foam paddles they give to disgruntled couples during therapy sessions lol.
I seen the pic of Wolfgang some time back and thought it was released. I looked everywhere for this model with no luck. Now knowing the reason is so simple I feel like bopping myself on the head. I’m looking forward to picking this one up.
Hmmm AZur box set looks good
