Beating St Celestine’s Miraculous Intervention rule for the Sisters of Battle. In the White Dwarf edition of their codex it states that every time Celestine is removed as a casualty, you have to place a counter where she ‘dies’. Then each turn on a 4+ she returns to play within 1 inch of the counter with D3 wounds. So effectively this would mean she cannot be killed unless you hit her with a Force weapon or something similar that would remove the model from play right? Wrong. Then they FAQ’d it with this.. ‘Can Saint Celestine use her Miraculous Intervention… Read more »
Just stick that into the forum linked to in the post and its cheese factor shall be judged accordingly.

Sherlock Holmes!
Warren, you’re getting verrry good at this, you know that don’t you ?
A bumper crop of brilliance today – On The Table AND Turn 8 on the same day! 🙂 Those Dropzone Commander pics look stunning, especially the weathering on the modular buildings. The UCM look as though they’re on parade next to them…this game is going to rock. Kudos also to @cavatore for the sweet prizes – they may not be used with the new edition of 40K looming but the bragging rights will be astronomical!
Oh and @dracs – shame on Warren for ragging on you, I hope you put a whoopee cushion under his seat for tonight’s Turn 8… 😉
I am afraid I won’t be at tonight’s Turn 8 =( making this possibly only the second I have ever missed. Unfortunately I have my final exam for my BA Hons tomorrow morning so its time to cram.

The cheesiest rule still remains…POWER ARMOR…relatively cheap, 3+ sv, every noob’s wet-dream…we’ll see how it is in 6th ed *roles eyes*
So much new wonderful toys.
Well, I don´t know exactly how much cheese something has in 40k, I´m still assembling my army and have had only a demo game, but I do like the concept of the Wraithguard Deathstar, with Stealth rule becoming a general rule on the 5th edition, you could just get a wraithguard squad, put a warlock with conceal and attach Karandras with them. T6, Armor 3+, Cover 4+, bring in a farseer and you get to reroll all those saves, and even get more out of your wounds on 2+ shooting. A lot of points, but if you have few objectives… Read more »
I have to say that the biggest thing was the ambiguity of tank shock and ramming. Especially with the Ork codex coming out and the Dethrolla.
