Yeah… good luck getting a friendly game playing that way… It’s pretty obvious that it was intended to give only the bonuses if you use that specific weapon in combat. They updated the the line about the regular and special to :”All of their attacks, including the bonus attack, use the special weapon’s bonuses and penalties.”
Just poor wording is GW’s standard.
Now, if you pulled that on me at a game, I’d pick up my stuff and walk right away.

you must attack with the lighting claw, you can only attack using 1 special weapon unless rules specify otherwise.

Yes, you’re right, but Darrell’s argument is that the bonus from the LC is applicable to the other weapons as well regardless of which one is being used…
Darrel needs to learn the mantra DBAD.
Sure, the RAW might allow you to do that, but good luck ever getting a friendly game again.
