Perry Miniatures Preview Models from Many Different Eras
May 2, 2012 by brennon
Perry Miniatures have revealed a lot of different previews for upcoming plastic sets. They cover not only the eras of Napoleon and the American Civil War but World War II as well. Check them out below...
German Afrika Corp...
British Army 8th...
American Civil War...
War of Independence...
Well that was certainly a lot of different miniatures. I think I can be safe in the knowledge that a lot of wargamers have been satisfied with these releases which will all be out as plastic sets. With so much high exposure to the world of Historical Wargaming I may have to actually start some of this myself, potentially going for some of the World War II miniatures both from Perry and other companies.
Does any of this take your fancy?
Who wears short shorts! nice models as always from the perry twins
Thats nice selection of models for different eras. To me those American Civil War models are expesially interesting.
Like the Independence chaps, and the desert soldiers, and the Civil War bods.
Perrys set the new standard for WWII figures. Now where did I put that desert yellow paint?
The ACW figures will more than likely be making their way to a my rebel army near me as soon as.
AWI is not a period I game but I have often been tempted just by the figures Perrys produce.
Thats some lovely models. I might just get some to paint.
Perries! You magnificent bastards, now make a rulebook!

😉
I like the idea but then they would have less tiime to sculpt
And we have seen thier finger print on a few rulebooks 😉
-If nothing else as testers of Blackpowder etc.
If I had any money left after a rather expensive april I would be throwing it at the screen.
The Perry’s going into WW2 is pretty awesome.
I would love to see them do some more “unusual” medieval stuff, they already have their Korean range, perhaps some Indian, or middle eastern stuff.
Or even ancients such as the Sassanids or a Slav army. Medieval russians are particularily lacking
Bolt Action rules nearly here, or already here for people quicker off the mark than me, and I fancy some rats vs fox desert action. Anyone got an estimated release date for the 8th army & DAK sprues? Please don’t say they are in “the great Renedra tailback” and will appear this time next year!
