MaxMini Doodle Some More Alternate Sci-Fi Heads

MaxMini are hard at work on a new set of alternate heads for your Sci-Fi soldiers it seems. Check out the concept art of the different variants below.
The first thing I thought about was to add these to some Steampunk warriors. Add some hissing vents and glowing power packs and you could have some pretty eldritch looking soldiers with that edge of rivets and iron. The other idea is obviously for some Pre-Heresy marines, maybe of the Adeptus Custodes, the sworn protectors of The Golden Throne?

Custodes will be the first thing on your average SM player’s mind but those high domed helmets scream Eldar to me. That does depend on the prominence of the rivets in the sculpts though – if they can’t be filed off it wouldn’t look elegant enough for my taste. These could also work for fantasy gaming – the bottom left helmet could work for High Elves with the perforated nose and mouth area being like a medieval knight’s helmet but with the sleekness need for elven armour. The gold helms and red plumes scream Custodes 😛 But yeah, the top left does have an Eldar look, and bottom right a Dark Eldar look to it too.
Got a real Nemesis / Torquemada vibe. Like them a lot.
How about Pre-Empire Eldar?, like Eldar when they were more primitive in technololgy
