More Exotic Enemies of the Romans for Hail Caesar from Warlord
May 1, 2012 by brennon
Warlord Games are heading back to the exotic edges of the Roman Empire with new enemies for the glorious Empire to fight against in Hail Caesar. Check them out below...
First up is the Aramean or Chaldean Light Infantry. They dwelt in Southern Babylonia and a main tactic was to create a bristling shield wall with archers behind. They were also masters at skirmish fighting and taking on their enemies in the swampy terrain of their home land.
Next up is the master horsemen of the Parthians. These riders were masters of the bow and would prove a constant problem to the Legions of the Empire. Certainly a new challenge to the Roman expansion.
Will you be picking up either of these rebellious factions?

I am liking those parthian horse archers althought those light infantry are also rather good. .
Parthians…that rings a bell. The parting (well, Parthian really) shot they could pull off by loosing arrows while retreating was a nasty trick in the days before turrets. Good to see models for them.
Would make rather good Kislev horse archers too
