Spellcrow Miniatures Summon the Rotting Undead
April 19, 2012 by brennon
Some more Work-in-Progress models from Spellcrow Miniatures again today, but this time they have a whiff of rotting flesh about them. Check out their zombies below...
Not looking too shabby. I love the different poses and the more animated feel from some of them. I especially like the guy holding his own head! Would be great as unit filler or even as Role-Playing elements in a deep and dark Necromancers Dungeon.
What do you make of these Spellcrow offerings?
Stunning rot and muscle detail from Spellcrow, not to mention the characterful ‘Look at me! I’m still mighty!’ pose on the guy holding his own head (could make a zombie shaman if you exchange the axe for a gnarled staff?) and the giant scythe on the last one – perfect for unit champions. The zombie with only a spine and some legs even manages to improve on the Mantic plastic one by having the head grinning at you from the belt for extra personality. Fantastic figs here.
I like them so far. Is it just me, it seems zombies are made by almost every model maker?
I might not have seen many different zombie models but from onces that I have seen these are defenetly best looking onces.
