A Perfect Dwarf Dungeon Hero from Spellcrow Miniatures

Check out this preview Work-in-Progress from Spellcrow Miniatures for a Dwarf Caster. I saw this and immediately started thinking of rolling up a new D&D character...
While Dwarves don't typically get the role of a spellcaster or mystic this could be fantastic for a Dwarf Invoker in 4th Edition D&D. Could even work out as a great Runepriest for your armies in Warhammer too. I love this little guy too much I think!
You could even avoid the spell wielding side of things and say that massive staff is just a great axe head!
What do you make of this bearded scholar?
The detailing on the axe head isn’t hard and angular as with runes and the medieval-style shoes he’s got look a bit like tentacles – add in the slightly grim expression and I’d say this would be a great daemonsmith for Chaos Dwarfs. The axe-wielding arm is a bit long but it’s a good looking mini and the big gem on his chest is asking for a good paint job to make it look like it’s glinting in the light.
Knuckle dragging arms are unfortunately all too common with dwarf models, and this one is king of knuckle draggers.
Greenstuff under the robe to make a magic cloud. If you hadn’t have mentioned to pointy mediaeval shoe style, THC that is was a spell going off under his robes! lol
I need more coffee to wake up!
That said, however I quite like the character of this chap.
Amazing !
And you know, I happen to have a dwarf wizard character in a game of Pathfinder…
Thats a unique looking dwarf.
Loving the shoes. Proper hoes.
Thats pne very nice looking dwarf.
