Kingdom Death Show Even Adventurers Fear the Dark

Check out this great looking new Survivor model from the folks behind Kingdom Death. Suddenly you realise just how dangerous those deep dungeons can be!
This Survivor is based on a piece of art work which you can check out below. Also the folks who sculpted her have said that she is still a work in progress, so forgive the slip on the fingers!
A great anime look to the model and the art. This could also be a perfect chance for painters to try out their source lighting skills with that glowing lamp.
What do you think of this new survivor?

Makes me wonder how many parts are in the model!
Her poor fingers have already been attacked by theat human centipede, Piston! lol
That’s impressive! The new title for this should be “Kingdom Death Show Even Adventurers Panties in the Dark”
Lovely as always (well, nearly) from Kingdom Death..

I thought you were more into the chibi stuff.
Interesting change of pose in this mini – we see plenty of determined and dynamic adventurer sculpts, but not too many showing them when something goes wrong and/or they need to take cover. I can’t see the fear the artwork has in the face, but maybe that will change once it’s painted and it’s still a very good sculpt.
Thats very intresting pose. I just love how she is hiding behind wall.
It’s a very nice mini but the one slight problem I have with it is the difference between the artwork and the mini; the artwork manages to convey a real sense of fear and that the character is hiding from something because of this, however, the mini somehow fails to capture this and makes it look more like the character is hiding in ambush. As thc303 says, this may be rectified in the painting but at the moment it feels as though something is missing. Still, a very nice sculpt and one I will most likely try to get my… Read more »
This will make an excellent dungeon crawl objective marker or if you model the base just right it can be a turn counter.
@ hendie, the miniature in hand looks far less confident. There’s a definite feeling of trepidation in the pose. The miniature in the pic has an intact blade, and the illustration shows it broken. Mine came in 2 parts in the box, so I’m really not sure if it was intended to be whole or not. I’ll certainly be emulating the art and having the broken blade resting on the ground.
