Hasslefree Forge New Bearded Burly Dwarves
March 26, 2012 by brennon
Hasslefree Miniatures are back to the Forge with a couple of new Dwarf releases for their fantasy range. Check them out below and see what you think...
First up is this set of Dwarf Crossbowmen. I still love the historical look mixed in with the fantasy and would make great additions to a Mantic Dwarf force I think. The scale and modelling seems to fit their style best.
And this grumpy gentle-dwarf is unnamed at the moment! Hasslefree are working on a name now through their Facebook page so go and check that out if you want to have a bit of a chin wag about it. I love the big helm, ornate beard and sense of stalwart stone about him. Great leader model for your hard-as-nails Dwarves.
Liking these models soon to hit the internet shelves?
Dwarves from Hasslefree are always a treat…
They have knees !

One with axe looks expesially good.
The Dwarf with the Axe is a great sculpt. He really does look quite powerful, hands like shovels
Huzzah! Missile troops! Too many times I’ve seen great figs and no way to make a well-rounded basic army with them, and you do need shooting or cavalry/heavy infantry for that IMO. These let you make a more advanced warband or army than your bog-standard shortbow archers would, meaning you can play WHFB with this line. Loving the chainmail too, should take a drybrush very well.
