Tale of War To Launch A Game with A Bit of Bite

If your looking for a new horror based wargame for the tabletop then Tale of War might have the answer. They are going to be releasing their game soon but to start it off are two miniatures which you can buy right now!
These two horrifying miniatures are Claudius of Moldavia and Ardolf Pellan, made of white metal and looking very nice indeed. Great painting projects even before the games been released! Werewolves and Vampires in an alternate Historical Earth? Sounds good to me!
Will you be the first to get your hands on these, even before the game itself has come out!
This game goes up a notch in my eyes before it’s even out for one good reason – that vampire doesn’t bloody sparkle. 😉
On that note, I like the withered bat wings on Claudius and the general ‘battered’ appearance he has – usually you see great hulking man-bats or debonair ornately armoured nobles to indicate vampiric strength so this guy tells a story of having seen better days. Nice sculpt too.
Agreed. A decrepit madman with the powers and thirst of a vampire is much scarier!
I imagine him climbing out of the coffin in the basement of his ancestral castle to lead down ranks of soldiers only he can see, carving through the armies of his enemies with his rusted blade, piling the corpses, which the morning sun reveals to be merely of the clueless, broken village folk …
Sorry, got carried away … 🙂
It was thought more as a vampire soldier. More important characters to come ;]

A mad vampire soldier say I!
🙂
Some mighty fine artwork you guys have there … might that be by one of the former “Rackham” artists?
Oh, no, that’s mine.

I’m pretty sure from the file name its Sergio Alonso – not sure if he worked for Rackham
Very cool. Also interesting to see your work is behind some of the hottest (for me at least) companies at the moment.
The paint jobs are well done.
Those are rather good.
The vamp looks like something Mignola could draw … big plus for me.
