Defiance Games have been showing off some of their assembled Bugs from the Alien War range, check them out below and see what you think.
Certainly very spiky these Bugs, and a good lick of paint could really bring these models to life. As they are though, they look deadly enough to prove a problem to the average trooper.

really like the look of these, somewhere between the fly and the prawns from district 9, with a little bit of starship troopers thrown in. Must have!
The poses look a bit “YMCA” to me…
What you have a problem with bugs getting down @osdad ?
Besides the choice of pose, I like that you can have them posed as you wish because of the ball joins 🙂
I really like the aliens… although I hope they come with an alternative arm options.
Thanks guys! To give you a bit more info. Each Bug is assembled from 9 parts: head, thorax, abdomen, 2 arms, 4 legs. The arms and legs are connected via a ball socket so you can get a pretty extensive range of poses ad infinitum. Unique parts-wise there are in the set: 3 heads, 3 arms, 3 legs – all the arms and legs can be used in any of their respective sockets (i.e. no left and right hand or left/right/back/front feet – they go any which way you want) We’re going to supply them with 30mm round bases in… Read more »

I’ve been keeping my eye on these guys for awhile. Actually, I’ve been waiting forever for the marines to be released, but it’s good to see progress for Defiance Games. I know DG has mentioned that they’ve tweaked their injection process to get better detail and plan on redoing the German soldiers. Can’t wait to see what else is coming and I hope to see actual releases soon!
ive been waiting for these bugs myself…. I have sst rules, i have at43 una or red blok troopers…now i can have no good multi legged freaks to frag.
the price is looking good to, right time to sell a load of unwanted crud to get more crud 😉
not too keen on the US soldier there, but the bugs look really nice … as someone suggested earlier U.N.A troopers would fit this range nicely
